The following information is from our ad to rent this as a vacation rental. We are interested in swapping this property for one week, Aug 29 - Sept 5, 2010. So, please ignore the references to fees and deposits for the purpose of a swap. This is a quaint beach cottage much larger on the inside than it seems from the outside. #9 Desano Drive. 1 1/2 Bath plus outdoor shower. There are 4 large bedrooms. 2 upstairs that are for youth with 4 twin beds, or they both can convert into king sized beds upon request, plus 4 trundle beds. Two bedrooms downstairs set up for adults with king size beds. Linens available for $75 fee. The living room and kitchen are knotty pine and the bedrooms are bright and cheery. Water views from the living room, front bedroom and sky lights. Living room has a cozy fireplace for cool summer nights and pull-out couch. Outdoor patio with plenty of furniture and a 8' picnic table& extra chairs inside & outside, and gas grill. Three minute walk to the beach! Our beach home is one of the closest properties you can rent to walk to Scarborough Beach. This quintessential beach cottage with water views of Scarborough beach is the perfect place to relax after a day of surf and sand. Close to beach, restaurants and pizza parlor. Easy bike ride to Galilee and Block Island Ferry and Point Judith Light House. Plenty of restaurants, seafood and beaches nearby. Minutes to Narragansett Pier area and Main St. Wakefield. Newport is only a half hour away, Fox Woods is 45 minutes away. Great surfing and beachcombing and fishing all along the shore. Kids will enjoy the beach, miniature golf, bumper boats and many other summer activities nearby.
Bathrooms are small and adequate. Downstairs bath includes new washer/dryer.
All new appliances throughout the entire house. The bedrooms are large & comfy with plenty of storage. Living room has a cozy functional brick fireplace. Outdoor shower (covered) with changing area. Beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys, cooler and carrier for toting to the beach. Linen
